BRIGANCE Readiness Activities Upsell Email

               Early individualized assessment and instruction are essential when it comes to preparing children for school. However, many educators struggle to find an early childhood instructional solution that perfectly complements each child’s assessment results.

               BRIGANCE Readiness Activities were specially designed to be used in conjunction with BRIGANCE assessment data. These fun, easy-to-plan developmental activities link to the assessment in the BRIGANCE Screens and Inventories to provide instruction and practice in key school readiness skills.

               This email was developed to sell BRIGANCE Readiness Activities to existing customers who already purchased BRIGANCE assessment products. BRIGANCE assessment results point directly to developmentally appropriate lessons in Readiness Activities, so when our team was asked to brainstorm for this piece, I pitched the shape sorter toy concept in hopes that it would convey that BRIGANCE assessment and instruction "fit perfectly" with one another. 

Al's World

               Whether writing IEPs, developing individualized lesson plans, or facing seemingly insurmountable budgetary constraints, the life of a special educator is not an easy one. They often work incredibly long hours with little support, even from peers—that’s why BRIGANCE created “Al’s World”.

               Al's World is a lighthearted monthly comic strip sent to special educator subscribers.  It was not developed to drive sales, but rather to build the BRIGANCE brand, and to let educators know, “we understand the struggles you face every day, and we’re here to help.”

STAAR Test FAQ Email

               First introduced in 2012, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (commonly referred to as STAAR) are a series of state-mandated standardized tests used in Texas public primary and secondary schools to assess a student's achievements and knowledge learned in each grade level. STAAR tests curriculum taught from the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, or TEKS, which are taught by public school systems in Texas.

               To meet the evolving needs of Texas customers, Curriculum Associates® developed STAAR Ready, a rigorous program designed to provide comprehensive assessment and targeted instruction on each of the TEKS, which are covered by STAAR. To coincide with the launch of their new product line, Curriculum Associates created a list of STAAR FAQs to help make the transition as seamless as possible for educators. This email was sent to follow up with recipients of the initial STAAR FAQ email.

QUICK-WORD Campaign, Email 1

               The QUICK-WORD series from Curriculum Associates is like a permanent, portable word wall that contains words students use frequently in their writing. Designed to help students learn to write the right way, QUICK-WORD handbooks feature popular word lists, homophone guides, common abbreviations, suffix references, and more—all compiled to give students the tools they need to excel at writing. Following the success of QUICK-WORD, QUICK-MATH, and QUICK-WRITE were introduced.

               Curriculum Associates created "10 Tips for Using QUICK-WORD" as a way to help educators implement a QUICK-WORD strategy in their classrooms. As part of this email campaign, customers were driven to the Curriculum Associates Facebook—both to view the other nine tips for using QUICK-WORD, and to get the offer code for a 50% discount on QUICK-MATH and QUICK-WRITE.
